Hoppy Easter Every Bunny

I know, I know, super lame post title, but I couldn't help it. Today is Easter Sunday. I was raised episcopalian, but stopped practicing a long time ago. Not that that means I'm not spiritual; it's just I'm a lot more comfortable with the chocolate-and-bunny side of Easter than I am the church-and-Jesus version.

I also don't have any kids, but still enjoy the idea of Easter baskets, so I made baskets for the two men in my life: my husband and my cat.

My husband isn't a big candy eater, but he does enjoy some basic stuff like Kit Kat and M&M's. So for his basket I got him a box of protein bars, peanut butter crackers, and some Kit Kat bars. I then found these totally sweet Darth Vader shaped Easter eggs and filled them with M&M's and Rollos (because I'm the best wife there ever was).

Is it blasphemous to put the Dark Side and second coming of Christ together?

For my kitty I got a brush for his fur, some lids for his open cans of food, and fun stuff like cat nip, cat nip bubbles, toy mice, and a laser pointer.

He really is enjoying everything

For my Easter/Birthday gift, my parents hand-made me four beautiful wooden nail polish racks. I can't wait to fill them up!

I die.

And, of course, I had to do an Easter themed manicure. For my nails I used Zoya's "Awaken" collection. For my accent nails, I hand painted an Easter egg motif and a rabbit. Check it out!

Colors shown clockwise: "Rebel", "Hudson", "Purity", "Dot", "Cole", and "Dillon"

No matter how you spend your Easter, make it a good one (a little chocolate couldn't hurt, either ;) )
